The Vision Behind the Fund
Founded by Dr. Uchechi Okereke as a personal commitment to educational equality for the youths of Ovim.
Founder's Vision
"I believe that talent exists in every corner of Ovim, but opportunity does not. Dr. Uchechi Okereke Scholarship and Youth Empowerment Foundation was created to bridge that gap, giving promising students from disadvantaged backgrounds the support they need to succeed academically, personally, and professionally."
The goal is clear: to build a pipeline of future-ready, socially conscious leaders who will give back to the Ovim community, creating a cycle of impact that extends far beyond the individual scholarship recipient.
This scholarship is Dr. Okereke's personal commitment to educational equality, and a tribute to every young person in Ovim who has the drive to succeed but lacks the financial means to do so.
